EA released update 1.22 this week for F1 2025 that includes fixes for the F1 26 DLC.
Major fixes
Update 1.22 addresses the issue where some users got an error that prevented them from playing in an online mode, typically resulting in the "Communicating With Online Services" message screen getting stuck. The On-Screen-Display layout issue, as well as tyres going missing after a Red Flag, has also been fixed.
Minor improvements
The SF25 wheel from Thrustmaster has been included in the list of wheelbases. They've made various fixes related to controllers and corrected several graphical glitches.
The Overtake Mode lines on the track now match what's seen on the track map, along with a large number of UI and stability improvements.
Final thoughts
As usual, we always see it as a good sign when a games company updates the products on a regular basis, and it gives us a bit more confidence in their product.
We did mention previously that the 2026 DLC for F1 2025 is a step in the right direction, but we have not spent much time looking at the offerings from EA's F1 franchise. This is mainly because we see the game as essentially the same thing, year in, year out.

What we do like, though, is the last part of the update notes for 1.22, where they list all of the ways EA are trying to support the F1 game community in terms of official ways for bug reporting, troubleshooting guides and a thread where you can post issues you've experienced with the game.
