Gomez Sim Industries (GSI), the makers of high-quality sim racing wheels and other products, announced their latest wheel this week, Artemis. It represents, according to GSI, "everything GSI stands for".

Made with very high-quality materials, Artemis features a Gorilla Glass high-resolution display, hall sensor-based ball bearing magnetic shifters, fully customisable buttons via their UltraLink software, lots of knobs, buttons and switches that are all backlit and comes in at 1.3kg (2.86 lbs) with a diameter of 290mm.

Final thoughts
This is obviously a high-end wheel and is not aimed at the majority of sim racers. We think it is first and foremost an engineering exercise from GSI to showcase their prowess in building high-quality sim racing wheels, and we foresee that some of the tech from this wheel will slowly filter down to lower-end wheels.
It is more for the wealthy sim racer who wants a high-quality wheel to add to their collection and not for someone who is on a budget.
Can you get a similar wheel for a lot less money? The answer, of course, is yes. There are lots of wheels that will give you similar levels of functionality in terms of magnetic shifters, colour display, backlit buttons, etc
Cube Controls, Leoxz, Simagic, etc all have wheels that will be a lot cheaper with features that are not much different from the Artemis wheel from GSI, albeit a huge amount cheaper.
However, we're happy that GSI have the capability of building such an impressive wheel and are envious of those few people who can afford to buy this engineering marvel.
