You don't always need massive amounts of power and speed to have good racing, and iRacing's FIA Formula 4 is a good example of this. Representing iRacing's lowest category winged single-seater, the FIA Formula is aimed at beginners who want to learn high downforce motorsport fundamentals and seasoned veterans who want to enjoy exciting racing.

Weighing in at only 570kg, the lightweight F4 is powered by a 4-cylinder 2.0L engine developing 160hp driving the rear wheels. The car has no ABS, Traction Control or hybrid technology and is essentially a pure racing machine that's focused more on driving and less on in-car management.
