Project Motor Racing adds Japanese GT500 pack DLC

Project Motor Racing, the highly controversial racing sim recently added a new DLC: The Japanese GT 500 pack.

Super GT

The Japanese Super GT championship is a sports car series that's been around since its 1993 inception. The cars are custom built with carbon fibre chassis that have more in common with Le Mans prototypes than the road cars they are made to look like.

The engines produce over 650hp with prodigious levels of downforce. They are similar to the old DTM cars before that series switched to GT3. The three main brands represented are Nissan, Honda and Toyota.

Final thoughts

If you're after a sports car experience where you get to drive powerful custom built machines with high levels of downforce, then Hypercars and LMP2's are not your only option. The Japanese GT 500 DLC for Project Motor Racing provides exhilarating levels of performance with high grip levels that makes it unique in modern motorsport. We miss the old DTM cars and this DLC goes some way towards reliving those days.
